Jackson Records upcoming release 'Shiddat' to hit market by July 19, 2012.

May 30, 2012 - PRLog -- The most awaited desi-rock duo album 'Shiddat' by music composer & singer Utsav Bhanja & songwriter Ali Sharib featuring rap artist Jay-C will release by July 19, 2012. Jackson Records is hopeful present a brand new musical phenomenon nationwide in India.
"We are not concerned about how well the album sells online or physically, the most important thing for both of us is to make sure whether our music is able to connect with the people or not. If you feel like listening to any of our numbers multiple times just because it touches you somewhere, thats our achievement. Shiddat might be a commercial music album for the world, but for us, it is our dream, our thought, our feelings & the language of our imagination" says Utsav, the music composer, lead singer & guitarist of the album.

The album starts with a short intro named as - 'Rehaai', meaning freedom. Shiddat is a musical reflection of our mission to give wings to thoughts & imagination. People are bounded by several things in their daily materialistic lives. There must be a way to escape from such invisible bindings of life. 'Rehaai' is based on freedom from such bindings that seem to be involuntary but are actually not. Its high time to start thinking again rather than just following what has been done over the civilizations.

The album is a mix of emotions, starting from thoughtful imagination to love, desperation, frustration, realization & getting avenged. However,  Shiddat carries on a positive wavelength thoughout the album through fun justifications of serious issues like failure love stories (in the track 'Ja re ja') & feeling the nostalgia of old college days (in the track 'Socha Na Tha')."

Few people questioned the need to include Rap in a desi rock album. However, there's no point to doubt the genre as far as we don't set boundaries to music. In simple words, both the individuals of Shiddat believe that music should not be restricted by genres. The sound is what matters. Its always better to let our ears decide. 'Sawaal' is an example of a mixed genre song. It has got soft rock, heavy rock & rap over a metal riff.

Shiddat comes with surprises. People will get to listen to the studio version of 'Ehsaas' - a much anticipated composition of Utsav Bhanja written by Vinod Morya. The track was composed in 2009 and will be finally published as a bonus number in Shiddat. 'Ehsaas' has got a lot of fan followers over the past 3 years & has reached the ears of people only through live performances. Hopefully people are gonna get a gift this season with the power packed album - Shiddat.

The 10 tracks album, composed by Utsav Bhanja & written by Ali Sharib, is going to be released digitally around the world in 164 countries from Jackson Records. Audio CDs will be available in India.
