Liza Urso Joins Wick Phillips As Of-Counsel

May 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, announces that Liza Urso has been named Of-Counsel to handle advertising/marketing matters, food labeling and related regulatory compliance issues.  Urso will be based in the firm’s Dallas office.  

   With a specialty in advertising/marketing law, Urso’s practice entails counseling and strategic planning for all aspects of consumer promotions, including sweepstakes, contests, print and media advertising, digital ad campaigns and joint promotions with third parties.  She also handles casework in fields regulated by the FTC, FDA and USDA.  In addition, Urso has extensive experience negotiating and drafting agreements with talent, advertising agencies, and sports teams at both the college and professional level.

   A member of the State Bar of Texas, Urso worked as in-house counsel  for Frito Lay’s Advertising and Marketing Department prior to her affiliation with Wick Philips.  She graduated with a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and received a B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University
