May 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The transcript below is taken from the Rutland and Stamford Mercury Letters Page on April 6th 2012...

"I would like through the Mercury to say a heartfelt thank-you to the owner and staff of PC Howard, of King's Cliffe, who came to my aid on Tuesday, March 20th, when my motorcyle broke down on the A47 at the back of RAF Wittering.

Not only did they stop and help, the owner actually had me and the motorcycle transported back to Barnsdale.

I was truly overwhelmed by the generosity and assistance afforded me by complete strangers. It has restored my faith in people.

I must admit sometimes I think people have become selfish and uncaring so I was delighted to be proved wrong. A big thank-you to all at PC Howard for being good samaritans to an old biker"

Exton Avenue, Barnsdale
