May 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The Community Center at  1705 Pulaski Pike will soon undergo a name and Logo change from Huntsville Adventist Community Services Center, INC. (HACSC) to “The Huntsville Area Community Services Center, Inc. (HACSC)” This change is due to a Trade Mark issue. We will continue to provide emergency food assistance to the working poor and hurting of this community.

The building that once served hot meals has recently been demolished due to a fire. It will be resolved and reopened when possible. Due to funding and remolding issues we will continue to serve Emergency Food Assistance while work is on going.

We plan to reopen our LR Patton office (228 G and H on Binford Dr) to provide perishable foods.

All recipients are qualified to the USDA standards for being impoverished. This service has been in operation since 1992 and serves approximately 300 families each week. Charitable gifts, Donations, and Sponsorships are needed to assist in our community efforts.
