Celebrate National Cupcake Day On June 9th National Cupcake Day started in the late 1990’s by the mad woman of Gainesville, Florida who decided to dedicate a day to celebrate her love of cupcakes. She would bake cupcakes and hand them out to her friends, neighbors, co-workers and her seven husbands. She was later shot in the foot by one of her husbands and decided retire. Since that time National Cupcake Day has long been forgotten but our love of cupcakes has grown to an all new level. With the immergence of cupcake stores all over D’s Just Desserts has decided to renew what the mad woman has started, So on June 9th come and Celebrate Nation Cupcake Day and get your free mini cupcake.
