Memorial Day Tribute Video Is A Tear-Jerker

'SOLDIERS SONG' is a compelling and emotional tribute to the men and women in the U.S. Military. Released two days before Memorial Day, the song is a tribute to those who sacrifice each and everyday for our freedom. A song inspired by a close friendship, Buck felt compelled to write 'Soldiers Song' after a close friend recently 'shipped out' for his third tour in the Middle East. The song and video, performed by Jeremy Buck and featuring Heath Francis, are a gripping testament; a unique perspective, to what must go through the minds our soldiers, as they put their loyalty and their life on the line on behalf of  all of us.

"My heart truly goes out to all of these extraordinary individuals who sacrifice their lives in order for us to live this life of freedom everyday!" says Jeremy, "In their honor I wrote a song about this very sacrifice. Not every generation has been as lucky as mine. I can't imagine what it must have been like to have been drafted and shipped off to war. I wouldn't last one second. Because of the bravery of these extraordinary people who volunteer to serve and protect our country, I am able to live the life that I love that is filled with music, art and limitless experiences. So, while thinking about this and talking with a friend of mine who is currently in the ARMY, I began to find it fascinating that even though a soldier may be put into situations where they may not agree with the the politics, they still serve loyally serve their country. This loyalty is what truly fascinates and inspires me"

Jeremy wrote Soldiers Song just two weeks before Memorial Day, and called in the support of friends in the music industry to pull of a extremely quick production. "I just felt this need to do something, say something, as a thank you to our military men and women. I communicate best through my art and my music. Soldiers Song is my Thank You"
