Finland Mother Takes Boys Dinosaur Room Back In Time

May 23, 2012 - PRLog -- As always, My Wonderful Walls is proud to announce that another successful room has been completed.  This time, however, it is quite far away from the town of Hixson, Tennessee.  Recently My Wonderful Walls has brightened up a home in a town in Finland where a mom named Ksenia created a bedroom for her two young boys, 4 year old Sevastjan and 1 year old Avgustin.

After recently purchasing a new home that was built in the 1950's, the family had a lot of work to do.  In fact, the space that was to become the boys' room was originally a hallway, toilet and a kitchen.  Once the home was remodeled enough for the boys' room to have walls, Ksenia began searching for dinosaur themed rooms, and discovered the My Wonderful Walls website.

She decided upon the Dinosaur Days Wall Mural Stencil Kit, as she wanted more permanency than stickers could provide.  She even stated that her boys can play, as boys do, without having to worry about accidentally tearing down the stickers.

Overall, Ksenia spent about a week painting all of the stencils, which she pre-planned, as far as placement was concerned.  As a somewhat artistic person, Ksenia even mixed her own colors using paint paste she purchased from the paint shop.  She found that the project, thanks to the quality of the wall stencils, was quite simple.  She was pleasantly surprised at how well the stencils held up to being used over and over again too.

As with other My Wonderful Walls' customers, Ksenia was also able to personalize the boys' room by using their initials - S&A - as well as by creating a bug army for them, which is her favorite part of the whole room.  While her husband loves the T-Rex dinosaur, Sevastjan was excited about the meteorites, as he says that is what brought an end to the dinosaurs.

After the room was completed, Sevastjan opened the door, stopped in his tracks, and with mouth open wide and eyes wide in surprise, he began smiling!  After continued thanks to his mother, Ksenia, he had to go around the room and check out each and every dinosaur.

Once again, My Wonderful Walls has helped create a space where kids can play, learn and use their imaginations.  The bright colors and interactive creatures, which in this case, consisted of various dinosaurs, trees, volcanoes and everything in between, will have these boys imagining they have gone back in time to go exploring with the dinosaurs.
