Golf the Sport of Business is geared toward corporations, executives, and celebrities. It teaches the importance and advantages of learning the game as a means of making business transactions and developing corporate relationships. The program has since spawned a new level of participation in the sport by students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and also has graduate programs for golf. While on Washington Watch, Green discussed what his life was like growing up in a family that had always been involved in the sport of golf. He also discussed the purpose and meaning of Golf The Sport of Business and the various endeavors he has undertaken. The impact of and response to the show was far-reaching, as Green’s tweets and Facebook posts reached 152,000+ individual accounts, while making 450,000+impressions (as per Klout, a social media impact measurement tool). Green’s conversation with Martin was a prelude to the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference, to be held in Chicago, IL. this week.
