-- San Jose, CA – Vizigy eLearning Technologies announced that their video eLearning platform now supports the iPad and iPhone. The platform allows clients to create video-based training programs that can be seamlessly delivered to iPads and iPhones. With this announcement, video-based lessons created within the Vizigy eLearning platform are automatically set up to be delivered to the mobile devices.
Not only does the Vizigy platform support delivery of video to the iPad, the video-based lessons also feature copy security and start/restart points of the video lessons. The Vizigy platform provides video stream encryption to discourage inappropriate copying of videos as well as secured user access. The start/restart feature enables users to pause videos at any point and then return to the same point regardless of time or how many other videos are being viewed.
Most industry analysts believe that support for the iPad and related mobile devices is critical for the future of eLearning. However, support for iPads represent a number of technical challenges. According to Randy Whiting, CEO of Vizigy eLearning Technologies, “iPads are becoming the device of choice for accessing and viewing video-based eLearning.” He also said, “support for iPads and other mobile devices is critical to Vizigy's strategy and value proposition to deliver our clients video lessons anywhere and anytime their customers need product training and instruction..”
