May 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The Palm Beaches just got more exciting with the invasion of a pirate ship. Pirate Adventures will be operating The Black Sparrow pirate ship out of the Rivera Beach Marina starting this June.

For only $25 per person, guests will enjoy a family-oriented 65 minute action packed cruise around Peanut Island and the inlet waters of the Palm Beaches. Children become part of the pirate crew by having their faces painted, getting tattooed, dressing up like pirates and firing the water cannons while hunting down a sunken treasure.

The Black Sparrow is 50 feet long, has a beam of 14.8 feet and can accommodate 46 guest pirates and a crew of three.  The hull was made in Steuben, Maine, and the boat was fitted to be a pirate ship in Cape Cod, Mass.

Multiple trips will be going out daily from the Rivera Beach Marina starting at the beginning of June and reservations can be taken online at http://www.blacksparrowpirates.com or by calling (561) 775-0139. The ship is also available for children’s birthday parties and private functions.
