ScottMadden Sponsors and Presents at HR Shared Services & Outsourcing Summit

May 22, 2012 - PRLog -- ScottMadden, Inc., recently sponsored and presented at IQPC and SSON’s 11th Annual HR Shared Services and Outsourcing Summit, held May 14–16 in Chicago. This conference featured leading industry experts discussing top HR shared services challenges and offered opportunities to exchange best practices.

Scott Manning, partner at ScottMadden, and Tina Krebs, director at ScottMadden, presented “Integrating Business Partners into your HR Shared Services Model.” This interactive, practical workshop stressed the role of a business partner to the success of the shared services service-delivery model. The discussion offered strategies and tactics for transforming the business partner role to fit a shared services model and provided methods to evolve the business partner role as HR shared services grows.

Additionally, Mr. Manning and Mrs. Krebs presented “Human Resources Shared Services Benchmarking Study—How Do You Compare?” This presentation provided a brief overview of a study designed by ScottMadden and facilitated by APQC. This report provided reliable, comparative benchmarking data that attendees could use to validate their operation’s performance to senior leadership to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR shared services.

Mr. Utley provided insight into the steps required when establishing a current state baseline, discussed how to maintain the business case, and demonstrated how to leverage the updated business case for change management purposes.
