MPW Staff Continue to Strive Towards SuccessMPW Insurance Brokers’ youngest account handler, Darren Gregory, has recently been selected to participate in the Allianz Scholarship Programme, a special programme put in place by Allianz to help develop Chartered Brokers.
By: Pillory Barn Canterbury Christchurch graduate Darren, who has been part of the MPW team for over two years, was selected from many candidates throughout the UK for the programme. He says: “This is an excellent opportunity for me to achieve a professional qualification with the backing and support of Allianz who continue to offer post graduate career development via their very successful Scholarship programme.” The Allianz Scholarship Programme is a learning and development framework which will provide Darren a structured path to achieving the CII Diploma in Insurance. The success comes in the same year that MPW were awarded the prestigious Chartered Insurance Brokers designation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the industry’s gold standard for firms of insurance brokers. Andy Webb, Chairman of MPW, comments on their awarded Chartered status and continuous staff development saying: “We are delighted Darren has been selected and remain committed to encouraging all staff to progress with examinations to enable us to offer the highest level of service to our clients.” There have been further examination successes within the accounts and broking departments, with Anthony Backler achieving Cert CII and Certified Accounting Technician status. In addition Helen McQuillen and Justine Nicholas have made progress towards a Cert CII qualification. Bonnie McEvoy and Carly Whiffen are working towards their Associate of Accounting Technicians and Hayley Williams having achieved success in credit management diploma level 2. End
