Tigo is offering its customers facilities on BlackbBerry to stream thousands of video files such as YouTube, directly on their mobile devices.
To celebrate the new BlackBerry (BB) Streaming service, Tigo is offering its customers facilities on BlackbBerry to stream thousands of video files such as YouTube, directly on their mobile devices.
“We are delighted to introduce this latest service on BlackBerry that our customers can enjoy through our high-speed nationwide network,” said Alice Maro, Tigo Public Relations Officer. “We continue to look for new and exciting ways to provide value to our customers, and this new service is an excellent addition to our portfolio,” she said.
From May 20 to June 2, 2012, prepaid and postpaid customers that purchase BB3 or BB7 packages will benefit from free streaming for the duration of their packages or a volume of 1GB, whichever comes first. Those buying BB30, BB90 and BB180 will get 2 Weeks streaming for free on BlackBerry or a volume of 1GB, whichever comes first.
The promotion extends the reach of BlackBerry service to customers who already enjoy unlimited browsing, email, BlackBerry Messaging (BBM) and Facebook on the Tigo network. Standard rates of Tsh 0.166 / KB applies after the offer expires or after 1GB has been used up.
