Anemometers - Not only for companies

They are used in laboratory, industry, trade and even in the hobby area. PCE Instruments expanded their product field concerning Mini Anemometers recently in order to reach students, private individuals and small businesses with these small, but functional devices.

The different types of Anemometers vary in terms of their type of application. With their help, air conditioning systems can be checked on their performance, they can be used for wind power research or even for example to measure air velocity on a sailing excursion. That is why PCE Instruments produces hot-wire, vane and waterproof anemometers. All anemometers of PCE Instruments make it possible to measure wind and flow speeds of the air. The results can (depending on the model) be stored on the integrated storage. Furthermore, anemometers can help to determine the temperature and the relative moisture of the air. Designed for quick or permanent measurements, they are ideal tools and convince with their legible display and their mobility (depending on the model). There are models especially suited for technicians, engineers and experts which are partly equipped with USB- or Bluetooth-Interface to facilitate the storage of data on the computer and convince the user with their high grade of mobility.

Depending on the model, ISO-certifications can be optionally bought for the anemometer. Anemometers shall not only address large customers from laboratory, industry and trade anymore. In fact, they shall address private individuals for use in business as well as in the hobby sector. PCE Instruments provides a broad range of different anemometers in order to give private individuals, such as sailors, the possibility to equip themselves with these helpful tools and to simplify their hobby.
