The Waterford Bolsters Health Center Medical Staff

May 18, 2012 - PRLog -- JUNO BEACH, Fla.:  The health center at The Waterford senior living community in Juno Beach, Fla., has added Dr. George Kantor as medical director of physical therapy and rehabilitation. Dr. Kantor brings 28 years of geriatric orthopedic experience to the community’s health center. He and his staff will make rounds at The Waterford as many as four times per week.

“By extending my practice to The Waterford, we’re able to provide a high level of orthopedic care that usually doesn’t exist with this age group,” said Dr. Kantor. “When residents return to the community after a surgery to begin rehabilitation, they have the advantage and comfort of seeing the same physician through the entire process. The additional care and post-operation follow up can prevent complications and speed up recovery.”

Dr. Kantor attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, La., completed his residency in orthopedics at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and his fellowship training at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles, which specializes in rehabilitation and replacements.
