May 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Kru Strength + Fitness, a boutique personal training gym has announced the sponsorship of three players on the Windy City Rollers All Star Team.  Kru Strength + Fitness was established in 2009 by personal trainer Josha Krueger, who has over 15 years experience as a professional strength and fitness trainer.  Kru is a new hybrid training gym that only offers personal training, semi-private personal training, and group fitness classes.  All training is instructed by experienced certified trainers, and area always available for health and nutrition advice.

Owner Josha Krueger has been working with the WCR to provide strength and agility training to league members, and was excited when the player sponsorship opportunity presented itself.  
“The Windy City Rollers are hard working dedicated athletes, these week-end warriors travel the country for bouts and are responsible for all their own travel and equipment.  We are really proud to help these skaters perform to the best of their ability,” Krueger says.

The three team members with Kru sponsorships,  Athena Decrime (#30), Varla Vendetta (#25), and Sargentina (#52), were chosen for their winning athleticism and their enthusiasm for roller derby both on and off the track.  “These three women have been instrumental in the success of not only the WCR All-Star team, the WCR club, but also the development of the sport in the US,” said Krueger.

The public will be able to attend a few upcoming all-star bouts to be held at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, on June 2nd, July 14th, and August 25th.
