May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Diesels On The Mountain and Truck Fest take place August 3-5 2011. Competitors from across the US and Canada will converge in Colorado to battle for top honors in sled pulling, drag racing, the dyno competition, and the show-n-shine categories. Media reps able to attend should contact
Matt Bozarth [ Matt@ATSdiesel.com ] at ATS Diesel as soon as possible to reserve spots,  set up credentials, and discuss logistics.

Friday August 3rd features the sled pull/ truck pull at the Adams County Fairgrounds venue. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. All competitors and spectators are invited. Classes will range from stock trucks to heavily-modified dedicated pullers. 2012's sled pull will be cosponsored and sanctioned by NSPA (National Sled Pullers Association) and will feature NSPA's pulling sled which is one of the most renowned pulling sleds in the country.  The main event for the final pulls starts at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday August 4th ATS will host a dyno competition & open house BBQ at our Arvada facility with (2) available dynamometers. First dyno runs will begin just after 8:00 a.m. Different classes will be available to competitors who enter for a dyno session. Classes will be structured similarly to those for the sled pulls and will provide a great chance at prizes for trucks at all levels of modification. Sponsors will have spaces available to display their products, show-off vehicles, and hand out literature.

Sunday August 5th Truck Fest transfers the excitement to Bandimere Speedway – title sponsored by Merritt Equipment. Events for Sunday include drag racing, vendor midway, rock crawling, and show-n-shine competition starting at 8:00 a.m. Spectators will see some of the most unique and detailed vehicles in the truck genre. Many of the country's fastest trucks will be in attendance to lay down impressive quarter mile times. As with Saturday, Sunday's competition and spectator opportunities are open to everyone.
