John J. Stahl III Joins The Coastal Bank as Mortgage Director and Senior Vice President

May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- In his new position, Stahl oversees mortgage lending activity at The Coastal Bank, manages a team of mortgage experts and ensures that customers enjoy access to a full range of state-of-the-art products and services.

An accomplished mortgage industry leader, Stahl has more than 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Before joining The Coastal Bank, he served as the director of mortgage lending at HomeTrust Bank in Asheville, N.C. and as vice president and area mortgage sales manager for Fifth Third Bank in southeast Florida. He has also worked in the mortgage division at a number of major regional banks.

Stahl earned an M.B.A. in Finance/Real Estate from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. and a B.B.A. in Finance from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. Over the years, he has been an active YMCA board member and a dedicated youth soccer and baseball coach. He and his family recently relocated to Savannah from Asheville, N.C.
