Entrepreneurs Get a Shot at Pitching Their Idea to Kansas City Area Investors at StartFest
Business startups from around the Kansas City metro will come together on May 24th for a chance to pitch their business idea to area investors and business leaders in hopes of making a connection that will launch them into their own business.
According to event organizers Robb Murry and Seth Meinzen of StartKC, these events are a great opportunity for every aspiring entrepreneur to see how pitches are done and get the chance for everyone to network and meet the investors and business leaders in an informal event. "Sure there are presenters at these events that connect with an investor and they end up working together straight from the presentation, but just as many entrepreneurs have found their financial partners by just meeting at an event and building a relationship over time", emphasizes StartKC Founder, Seth Meinzen.
StartFest is being held on Thursday, May 24th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the event space of BetaBlox in the Downtown Underground. Tickets are free if you register online through eventbrite.com.
