Standard Purification Signs Multi-Year Powder Carbon Contract with the City of Phoenix

The City of Phoenix operates multiple large water treatment plants serving 1.5 million citizens with up to 400 MGD of high quality potable drinking water. The vast majority of Phoenix’s potable water originates from surface or river water, therefore the use of activated carbon is critical for taste, odor and TOC elimination.    

Standard Purification is supplying the City of Phoenix in 2012 with a steam activated carbon product tailored for the removal taste, odor and TOC from potable water supplies.
