Young British Designers Launch American Tour
UK online retailer, Young British Designers, sends brand representative on two-month tour to introduce independent UK fashion to the US market.
"We are excited to send Felicity, our PR representatives, to the States,” Young British Designers (YBD) founder Debra Hepburn says. “Her trip is an important opportunity for us to share the work of our talented designers with a US audience. Our American friends have been really supportive as we have expanded our site."
YBD was launched in September 2010 with the mission of creating the first dedicated retail environment purely focusing upon young UK fashion talent. Designers include up-and-coming names such as Charlotte Taylor, David Longshaw, Felicity Brown, J.W. Anderson, Olivia Rubin, Partimi, and Yan To, to name a few.
“Felicity will be back and forth between the UK and US over the next two months and will be covering every detail of her trip on a special blog that we have set up,” Hepburn states.
Felicity’s US tour will begin in New York City and continue across the country, ultimately ending in California. Influential US fashion bloggers and industry professionals such as Crosby Noricks, Sara Zucker, Marie Denee, Brittany Haas, Sarah Conley, and Rachel Meis will make appearances during the YBD on Tour campaign.
