Aid and International Development Forum to partner with the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation
Patrick Fine, Vice President of the Department of Compact Operations at MCC, will provide keynote remarks at the official opening of AIDF 2012.
AIDF is a leading global event for NGOs, governments, intergovernmental organisations, aid agencies and the UN to meet in order to share best practices, debate key issues in the aid and international development sector, exhibit new technologies, and create new partnerships. The Forum is open to the public and free to attend.
The Millennium Challenge Corporation is an independent U.S. foreign aid agency that forms partnerships with countries committed to good governance, economic freedom and investing in their citizens. MCC provides these countries with large-scale grants to fund country-led solutions for reducing poverty through sustainable economic growth.
“MCC is proud to be a part of the Aid and International Development Forum,” said Nasserie Carew, Managing Director for Public Affairs at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. “The Forum is an opportunity for MCC to explore new partnerships and engage with a diverse range of audiences and development professionals.”
Patrick Fine, Vice President of the Department of Compact Operations at MCC, will provide keynote remarks at AIDF. In his remarks, Mr Fine will discuss the evolving landscape of international development and the rise of non-traditional donors.

AIDF will be held on 6-7 June at the Walter E Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
