May 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT — The UConn School of Business and The Fairfield County Chapter of The American Marketing Association (AMA) are co-sponsoring a special breakfast meeting on “From Stretched to Strengthened: IBM's Global CMO Study.”  A panel discussion and networking reception, this event will be held at the UConn Stamford campus, 1 University Place, Stamford, CT, on Thursday, June 7, from 8:15 am – 10:45 am.

Today’s marketers are coping with customers that can shop around the globe and find out more than ever before about organizations before or after they buy. They can share their views with millions of fellow customers with the click of a button.  Expectations are soaring -- customers can make or break brands overnight.

So how are chief marketing officers (CMOs) faring amid such turbulence?  IBM conducted face-to-face interviews with more than 1,700 CMOs, spanning 19 industries and 64 countries and will share the results.
