The gala is the HBA's premier annual event for recognizing members of the HBA for achievements in new home building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement during 2011. The MAX Awards is presented by the HBA of Greater Austin, which consists of more than 800 home building industry firms. HBA members submitted over 250 entries in dozens of categories and independent judges from outside of Austin, who are leaders in the home building industry, traveled to town last spring and selected the finalists.
