May 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Clean energy group ENER-G (www.energ.co.uk) has expanded its Romanian business with a move into new offices in Bucharest.

The move brings together a larger ENER-G Technologii Energetice (ETE) team with EnALT Engineering and Contracting, a power engineering consultancy in which ENER-G is a majority shareholder.

Derek Duffill, Group Managing Director for ENER-G, said : "By  bringing together our two Romanian businesses into prestigious new premises we have established an even stronger commercial and technical  team with the expertise and experience to accelerate clean technology development in Romania and the wider fast-growing markets of Central and Eastern Europe.

" In addition to the projects we have underway in Romania, there's an exciting pipeline of opportunity for our world class biogas generation, combined heat and power and clean energy recovery from waste technologies and services."

ENER-G established its ETE business three years ago and has major landfill gas generation and combined heat and power projects underway. The company acquired a majority shareholding in EnALT, which provides energy consultancy and specialist low carbon engineering services,  in 2010.

The new office was officially opened by Martin Harris, British Ambassador Bucharest.  ENER-G shares the prestigious offices with major multi-national businesses such as Coca-Cola and Ford.

ENER-G, which is  headquartered in Manchester, UK,  employs 780 people worldwide and has operations in 17 countries.
