The new features include importing a client list from another system via a CSV file, a comprehensive reporting tool and bulk/automatic invoice generation.  Several performance and dashboard improvements have also been released.

Importing your client list into CaseFox is now easy.  Just export your client list in CSV format from your old system, format the file for CaseFox and simply upload it to CaseFox.  Your clients will appear in CaseFox within seconds.

Automatic invoice generation feature allows creation of invoices for all your clients and cases with just one click based on a previously entered  and un-billed time/expense entries.  You may also select a specific client, specific case, all cases for a specific client to generate invoices in one click.

Dashboard now shows unpaid invoice list including PDF and LEDES download buttons for each invoice.  Dashboard further includes "Mark As Sent" link for each listed invoice to  mark sent invoices and Dashboard displays which invoices have been sent to clients.

Reporting feature now allows you to pull time/expense data and invoicing details using various filter criterion.  Reports are generated in MS Excel format. Hence you can perform further processing on the exported data easily.

Several improvements are made in time/expense entries and listings.  PDF invoices look much better now.  New "Contract Attorney" role that hides amounts from the assigned users.   CaseFox now also displays unbilled amounts for each case and case billable/non-billable totals.

CaseFox is a multi-user Web-based time and billing system that offers role based access to cases.  Among other type of roles, the “contract attorney” role is designed to enable your contract attorneys and staff to enter their hours and expenses directly in CaseFox using their own logins.  Contract attorney role hides all other data from users with contract attorney role.   Access to cases is also based on specific access grant to users.  

CaseFox offers easy invoice creation based on previously entered time and expense data by all case users.   Invoices can be emailed to clients directly from CaseFox with just one click.  Alternatively, invoices may be downloaded in PDF format and sent to clients.   Payments from clients (even partial payments) may be recorded.  LEDES 1998B compliant invoices may also be created just as easily.   Cases may be setup for hourly or fixed fee billing with different payment terms.  Different staff hourly rates may be assigned to different cases. CaseFox also provide monitoring of unbilled hours by each staff user and monitoring of overdue invoices.  CaseFox also offers trust fund accounting to manage advance fees payments from clients.
