SkipTrips A Success for Commercial Waste Management Companies
A first of its kind online marketplace for skip hire & waste management launched earlier this year is proving to be great success.
SkipTrips.com allows any commercial or domestic customer to post their skip hire requirements live online to every registered skip supplier covering that area. Whether it’s one skip or a hundred with multiple wastes and delivery times, so long as registration has been completed, all new Jobs will be emailed to SkipTrips suppliers and they can decide to quote to win the Job for free and without obligation.
Having only been launched for 2 months, SkipTrips has well over 2,000 Jobs posted to the site and has yet to being serious marketing to commercial users.
SkipTrips.com director, Ed Fanshawe said, “SkipTrips was developed because we found there was no easy way for good customers to find quality, local waste managers and vice versa. Local skip suppliers were spending a fortune on advertising to people regardless of their skip needs, wasting a lot of money and time in the process. Equally, businesses and individuals in the local area, or from miles away but working locally, also found it hard to gauge quality, credentials and prices – often sticking to brokers or national players because of the hassle factor. SkipTrips opens the doors to hundred of new opportunities daily and allows fantastic local waste managers to win new business by differentiating themselves and building an online profile of credentials and feedback.”
Ed also commented, “Even with the successful start we’ve made, there are many changes afoot on SkipTrips to make it easier for our suppliers to win new business. Our focus in on recruiting more and more big commercial customers who really care about the service they receive as well as the prices obtained and we are on the lookout for more quality suppliers to handle that demand.”
