Infinity Acquisitions Ltd CEO Ben Kirkwood sees potential in the UK's unemployed

May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- The recent unemployment figures that were recently published seem to have only added to the UK's economic woes. Ben Kirkwood, CEO of Infinity Acquisitions, One of the UK's leading outsource sales companies, believes that the high levels of unemployment may lead to increased entrepreneurialism. "With so many people competing for so few jobs, we may see an increased number of people starting their own businesses in an attempt to create income" explains Ben Kirkwood.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has said that the national joblessness rate has risen to 8.3% of the labour force with 2.62 Million people unemployed. "The youth are the most important group in these unemployment figures", says the Per DM CEO. The youth unemployment passed the 1 million mark for the first time since 1986. "As the future of this country, and indeed all countries, it is important for the young to get a good start in life," Ben Kirkwood went on to say.

With so few companies hiring graduates and the decline in the number of those taking apprenticeships after school, it is becoming ever increasingly more difficult for young people to establish careers. Yet Ben Kirkwood believes that this inability to find a job will force many young talents to explore entrepreneurial ideas. "Many young people are deterred by the prospect of establishing their own business, but with so few job opportunities, many will explore this avenue", asserts the Infinity acquisitions CEO. "It seems in today's climate that the security of an annual salary is no longer guaranteed and those that would not have otherwise taken the risk of starting their own business, will now see it as a viable possibility," he went on to say.

Infinity Acquisitions is committed to identifying potential business owners and help them establish their own companies. "We aim to help young entrepreneurs who would not have had the resources to set up their own businesses. We give them a platform on which to build their companies and although the economic conditions are extremely difficult for any young person starting out in their adult working lives, it is important to understand that there are still opportunities out there" Ben Kirkwood went on to explain.

It has become evident that conventional career paths are less abundant and the means of progressing in life are no longer readily available to everyone. As a result of this Infinity Acquisitions CEO sees an increase in entrepreneurialism as a critical part to any future economy and a core feature of any economic recovery.
