Zack Drisko explores life of a baseball prospect in new short story

Los Angeles author publishes short story "The Prospect" about Southern pitching phenom
May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Los Angeles author Zack Drisko published “The Prospect” today, a short story about a Southern baseball phenom who struggles to adapt when his baseball career doesn’t go as planned.

“It’s about the longing a person has for an unrealized dream,” Drisko said. “We all wanted to be something when we were kids, be it a baseball player, dancer, or astronaut. As we grow up, some of us realize that we can’t be these things. It can be sad, but it can also be a great place of catharsis. That’s what I wanted to explore.”

“The Prospect” is available for $0.99 at Amazon and Smashwords. Visit for details on how to purchase or go to directly to or
