Meet Memoir Authors Ambrosio and Eaddy-Richardson at Ann Arbor Event
Writers with Michigan ties will describe different paths to coping with illness and other life hurdles on May 18.
Throughout Life Continues: Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause & Midlife with Hope, Courage & Humor, Ambrosio candidly describes many of the physical and emotional hurdles she experienced after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis two decades ago. The Michigan State University alumnus skillfully mixes short essays and verse to recount how she relies on laughter, friendships, music and other tools to cope with ever-changing symptoms and an uncertain future.
After years spent as a Michigan teacher, counselor and attorney, Denise Eaddy-Richardson decided to become an author, motivational speaker and life coach. Her book I Am Lifted: A Journey to a Better Life relates her spiritual path to self-discovery and the immense power of her faith in the Divine. She founded Passion for Purpose to change other lives through teaching, encouraging and coaching.
Both books will be on hand at the May 18 event. In addition, the memoirs may be ordered from Ann Arbor independent booksellers Nicola's Books or Crazy Wisdom Bookstore and Tea Room, or Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Life Continues is available in paperback, Kindle, Nook and various Smashwords eBook formats. I Am Lifted is available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle, Nook and eBook editions.
"One Evening, Two Inspiring Authors" will be held in one of the private rooms of the Passport Restaurant Lounge, an international fusion restaurant, located at 3776 E. State Street in Ann Arbor, Michigan http://passportrestaurantlounge.com/
