First 100 tickets to the 9th Annual German Bierfest in Atlanta just $25 and go on sale MONDAY!

May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia – One of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc.’s most entertaining events of the year is fast approaching: the 9th Annual German Bierfest, set to take place Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 2:00 - 7:00pm in downtown Atlanta’s Woodruff Park. Over 30 German beers will be on tap for attendees, who can purchase tickets on the Bierfest website (www.germanbierfest.com) beginning Monday, May 14, 2012.

Festival-goers are welcome to all the beer they can safely consume with their ticket purchase, with the first 100 tickets being sold on the German Bierfest website at a discounted $25 each. This special deal won’t last long, as regular admission is $35 for those that register online, and $40 at the door the day of the event.

As Atlanta’s only German beer festival, and the only family-friendly event of its kind in Georgia, the Bierfest is not to be missed. Interested parties should keep a close watch on the Bierfest website for other discounts and exclusive offers.

Non-drinkers can attend the festival for free and are welcome to enjoy the traditional German food, music and non-alcoholic beverages that will also be available throughout the day. Children receive free entry, while other patrons under 21 and designated drivers can attend the festival at no cost if they register for their free tickets online prior to the event; other non-drinkers that do not pre-register are $10 at the door.

SaferideAmerica, a nonprofit organization of volunteers that provides safe transportation to those unable to drive themselves, will also be at the festival to give attendees an alternative, safe and low-cost way to get home if needed.

This year’s Bierfest will have everything from the Beck’s you know and love, to the more exotic brews not found in your typical pub.
