May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Today a specialist online forum for Monster High has been launched – MHForum.net. Monster High has really taken off over the past 18 months and now fans of the brand have a place where they can meet up and discuss all the goings-on in the Monster High series.

The forum has a number of different sections, including a general lounge for chatting, a place to discuss all the online webisodes, and a place for people to discuss where to buy and sell the dolls as they can be notoriously hard to get hold of. The forum can be seen at http://www.mhforum.net

As background, Monster High was created by Garrett Sander and illustrated by Kellee Riley and the franchise has been around since 2010. Monster High is set in a fictional high school where most of the students are the children of famous movie, film, book and TV monsters. As well as being a highly successful website with regular ‘webisodes’ Monster High also includes – book, stationary, games, accessories, fancy dress costumes, a magazine and of course the incredibly popular Monster High dolls.

The characters in Monster High include Cleo de Nile the daughter of the Mummy, Frankie Stein the daughter of Dr Frankenstein,  Draculaura the daughter of Dracula, Abbey Bominable  the daughter of the Yeti, Clawdeen and Claw Wolf the children of the Werewolves and Ghoulia Yelps the daughter of the Zombies.

All of the characters have their very own ‘freaky flaw’ which helps children to see that everyone is different and should be accepted. In fact the slogans of Monster High are – “Be Yourself, Be unique, Be a Monster” and “Freaky Just got Fabulous”. In the two short years that Monster High has been around it has attracted fans on both sides of the Atlantic and as there are new dolls and accessories being released at regular intervals it shows no signs of slowing down.

The new forum MHForum.net, the brain-child of the popular fansite http://www.monsterhighdolls.net aims to tap into this popularity and help connect fans from across the globe.
