Nu Flow Benelux Completed 200th Job

Less than two years after their first job, the family- owned Nu Flow international partner celebrated its 200th completed job and has established itself as one of the pipe lining leaders in the Benelux area in Europe. This Nu Flow success story is an example of dominance and effectiveness of Nu Flow’s in-place technology in the worldwide market.

Nu Flow Benelux’s owners, Dirk and Steven Mestdagh, predicted a healthy market for our unique pipe renewal solutions, because most of buildings in Belgium and surrounding areas are more than 40 years old. The Benelux team has had as many jobs for potable pipe systems as it has had for drain pipe systems and primarily does work for residential homes and buildings, with some work in commercial buildings. The owners credit their success to their highly trained and skilled technicians and their family-owned business model, which allows them to react very quickly to problems or opportunities.

The Mestdagh father and son team have come a long way in the last few years, when they first came in contact with Nu Flow. After studying our unique technology for a year, they decided to pursue a partnership. Already, plans for expansion are in the works. A new office in Gent, Belgium, was just opened and the Mestdaghs have their ambitious eyes on other locations in the Benelux, hoping to open more branches sooner than later.

Nu Flow Benelux’s 200th job was on a house’s failing drain system. This home owner experienced constant problems with his drain line and wanted an effective, long-term solution. A camera inspection showed that a drain pipe was completely broken and where there should have been a 45 degree bend between two pipes, there was a bad connection with cement. Nu Flow Benelux rehabilitated this drain system with our Pull-in-Place structural liner, which creates a new, protective, seamless pipe within the host pipe.
