May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- High net worth individuals wanting to immigrate to the US to work or retire are not always aware that the US welcomes investors of $500,000 under the EB-5 visa program, which is operated by the US Citizenship & Immigration Service.

Immigration into America.com says this program is proving to be of great interest to high net worth individuals who wish to move to the US with their dependants and is both an opportunity for those seeking to retire in the US as well as those seeking employment. Other developed countries competing for immigrant investors have a slower and more expensive procedure for this.

IIA is bringing a panel of experts to London from 11 to 14 June. This includes US attorneys from a top 500 law firm and a senior partner of a New York City based property developer authorised to offer investments under the EB-5 program. High net worth individuals can arrange a personal briefing to find out more and gain consultancy according to their personal circumstances.

A successful applicant will receive a green card valid for two years that can be changed to permanent residency after 21 months provided the investor has met their visa conditions.

Benefits for the investor under the EB-5 visa program
Green Card for the investor, their spouse and unmarried children under 21 years
A clear route to US citizenship
College fees at the same rates as US nationals
Retire or work anywhere in the US

Mark Gilbert, Immigration into America.com said “The US is attractive for many high net worth individuals and the investment requirements make it very interesting for many. I have no doubt that this program will continue to attract interest from investors wanting to work or retire in the US.”
