St. Bridget’s Puts the ‘Fun’ in Fund Raising Annual Auction a huge Success!

May 10, 2012 - PRLog -- (Seattle, WA)  In a first class evening of fun and fellowship, the community at St. Bridget’s Church pulled out all the stops on Friday night, May 4, 2012, as parishioners, friends and family members converged on the church to join in “Letting the Music Play on,” the theme for the 36th annual fund raising auction, which included a ton of fun!

The fun-filled evening began with an early bird raffle, 3 silent auctions, a wine toss, and a ‘Backstage Pass’ raffle, which awarded the winner a choice of items in the live catalog.

Following a delicious dinner, catered by Sue Magan, the Charity Auction World ‘live auction’ swung into high gear, featuring some incredible items, generously donated to St. Bridget’s Church  including a two week trip to Uruguay, a one week stay in a beautiful private condo in Cabo San Lucas, and VIP weekend in Vancouver, featuring a concert experience with rock ‘n roll legend Madonna!

Fr. Tim Saur, St. Bridget’s popular pastor, was grateful for the work of this year’s auction co-chairs, Sheila Beer, Tyera Enquist Terriko Somers, along with the auction coordinator Cheri Shanahan. “These dedicated and unselfish women have been the cornerstone of our success this year. They have put together a team of volunteers who have gone above and beyond,” said Fr. Saur. “The annual auction is the principal fundraiser of the year, which helps us meet our budget needs so that we can continue the many ministries, programs and services to our parish. We are truly a blessed community!”

Charity Auction World is celebrating twenty-one years of successful fund raising, raising over $500 million dollars for worthwhile organizations all across America. In addition to veteran auctioneer April Brown, the Charity Auction World team of auction professionals includes media personalities Mike Brown, 710 ESPN Seattle and Neil Scott, Sports Radio KJR, 950 AM and 102.9FM and host of Recovery – Coast to Coast.
