May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Lake Simcoe waterfront properties are a hot commodity, especially in the Innisfil area with the development of the forthcoming world class 600 acre +/-  Big Bay Point Resort. Property values in the immediate area are expected to rise drastically.

Buying in the Barrie area and Simcoe County proves to be a great investment from year to year as Barrie is still one of Canada's fastest growing cities. The city has recently annexed thousands of acres from the Town of Innisfil which is now slated for subdivision development.

The housing market is tight and remains to be a Sellers market with the announcement of I.B.M and hundreds of job coming to the City of Barrie. It is expected that house prices will be effected in an upward positive manner as a housing shortage is quite evident.

Barrie is to become a university town with future campus development locating in the cities downtown core.
