Follow on Google News | Peddler's Village Annual Fine Arts and Contemporary Crafts Show in Bucks County, PAPeddler’s Village presents the Annual Fine Arts & Contemporary Crafts Show on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 2012.
More than 40 of the region's best artists will exhibit and sell a variety of work including paintings, photography, wood creations, mixed media, jewelry, pottery, glasswork, fiber creations, and ceramics. Artists were juried in by a committee of art experts, ensuring only the highest quality of exhibited work. Judges will select show winners, awarding $2,000 in cash prizes. One artist will receive the Founders Award and Peddler’s Village will purchase the artwork for the Jamison Family’s art collection on permanent display in the Village. The Village will swing with the smooth sounds of the area’s finest jazz, blues and pop musicians. The schedule of entertainment includes: Saturday, June 2 Noon – 2:00 p.m.: A Perfect 5th, Main Green Gazebo Don’t miss this entertaining jazz ensemble. 1:00-3:00 p.m.: Peter Pix, Courtyard Lots of personality plus incredible cover tunes. 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Rendition, Main Green Balcony Energetic, swinging and always entertaining jazz ensemble. Sunday, June 3 Noon – 2:00 p.m.: The Overtones, Main Green Balcony This duo performs songs that span generations. 1:00-3:00 p.m.: Tony Alosi, Courtyard A songwriter/singer with a unique mix of blues, funk, R&B and smooth jazz. 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Jersey Harmony Chorus Strolling a Capella Choir. 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Eric Mintel Quartet, Gazebo Energetic, swinging and always entertaining, the Eric Mintel Quartet has entertained audiences from the White House to the Kennedy Center. The Peddler’s Village 50th Anniversary Landscape Design Competition in partnership with Delaware Valley College also kicks off this weekend. The following three DelVal students were chosen from a group of 10 landscape design students who competed for their designs to be planted on the Peddler’s Village Street Road Green flower beds: Christopher Casola, Junior, Ornamental Horticulture/ The show is held rain or shine.
