Ware Malcomb Designs New Website for Shimmick Construction

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Irvine, California – Ware Malcomb’s graphic design studio wm | graphics was commissioned by Shimmick Construction (Shimmick)  to provide full service website design services including website planning, copy editing, and redesign. The new website can be viewed at www.shimmick.com.  Shimmick is based in Oakland California, with an additional office located in Irvine, California.

wm | graphics worked closely with Shimmick to improve the company’s website content, organization, design, and functionality, while simultaneously increasing the firm's visibility on the internet. In addition to the new design and structure of the website, wm | graphics also provided Shimmick programming and copy editing services. The new site's increased functionality enables Shimmick to make updates to key areas of their website, including the integral projects portfolio section.  Using this feature as a marketing tool, Shimmick keeps current data available to the public by featuring all project markets and providing each project’s full information, including detailed descriptions, project photography, and project awards. This back-end database also serves as a project archiving tool for Shimmick's internal use.
