May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- In concurrence with World Trade Month, Bridge360 was honored as a finalist for the Export Service Provider Award at the 2012 Second Annual International Awards:  An Evening with the Consular Corps on May 3 at The Four Seasons Hotel in Austin.

“Bridge360 has helped more than 30 of our clients bring products into 37 countries, with heavy emphasis on European and Asian markets,” said Brenda Hall, Bridge360 CEO. “We continue to operate with the mentality that trading on a global level can strengthen business, impact success on a larger level and leverage relationships for continued international trade opportunities."

The honor recognizes Bridge360’s expertise in pinpointing the steps needed for companies preparing to launch products for worldwide use. Bridge360 has long been a guide for companies as they make their business and financial decisions to enter markets outside of the U.S. Bridge360 is the only company from outside the United States to work with China's Electronics and Standards Institute (CESI) to certify clients with GB 18030, a mandated Chinese government criterion that deals with the required character and language support needed to sell software in China.

“Since Bridge360’s inception in 2001, more than half of our client base has engaged us with projects that include an element of international consulting, software internationalization or international software testing,” said Hall. “The value in leading our clients to understand the importance of building cultural usability practices to ensure that their products will be accepted and embraced in specific, targeted markets has resulted in seamless global expansion for our clients.”

Bridge360 was one of 13 finalists recognized at the Austin International Awards Ceremony. The winner of the Export Service Provider category was Hulsey, P.C. Other winners included: Lafes National Bodycare in the Small Business Exporter Category; Flare Industries in the Medium Business Exporter Category; and Freescale Semiconductor in the Large Business Exporter Category.
