May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Local Los Angeles non-profit IBG, Inc. is proud to announce the next in their state of 2012 events, a staged reading of the original work “My Letter to Fear,” to benefit the East L.A. Women’s Center and to welcome aboard the first three celebrity participants. Sufe Bradshaw, Jen Lilley, and Elizabeth De Razzo have graciously donated their time to participate in the reading, which will take place in Beverly Hills on the afternoon of Sunday, June 24th.

Bradshaw began her acting odyssey at the Los Angeles City Theatre Academy but has since went on to star on stage and screen and can currently be seen alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, and Anna Chlumsky on HBO’s political comedy 'Veep.'

Actor/Singer/Dancer/Comedian Lilley has performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade, recently appeared in the Academy Award winning 'The Artist,' and currently stars as Maxie Jones on ABC’s last remaining soap opera, 'General Hospital.'

And De Razzo, a founding member of IBG herself, currently stars on HBO’s 'Eastbound and Down' in the role of Maria. De Razzo is a founding member of IBG, Inc and wanted to use her position as a member of the artistic community in Hollywood to join the event as a performer, as well, in order to spread even more awareness of the worthy cause.

“My Letter To Fear” is a collection of personal essays, broken down monologue style, written by IBG, Inc’s own Patricia Steffy. Ranging from comedic to heartbreaking, the stories told within are ones that tap into the female perspective by offering commentary on and first-hand accounts of everything from what a woman’s worth, to finding inner peace and self-confidence, to abuse, and misguided relationships.

Each woman involved in the production—more names will be announced soon!—will hand-select her reading. The proceeds from this event will benefit the East L.A. Women’s Center, which provides services to women and children, focusing on sexual, domestic, and family violence and HIV/AIDS. The center works to empower and give hope to individuals, families, and the community at large, with an emphasis on bilingual/bicultural services for the Latino Community.

Founded in late 2008, IBG Inc (http://www.ibginc.org) established a non-profit focusing on utilizing the power of philanthropy through the arts to benefit a broad range of charities worldwide. We act as a “fundraiser facilitator” for underfunded, under publicized, and start-up charities that would otherwise struggle with the logistics and costs associated with event fundraising. This work has taken on a critical importance as the economy has been slow to recover, and we find ourselves with increasingly frequent requests for assistance.
