May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, announces the eight Bridge Award winners that were honored at the company’s annual Momentum Global User Conference held in late April in Las Vegas. These awards are given to clients who have exhibited outstanding partnership with Aderant and who have committed their time and resources toward building technology tools that help them better manage, grow, and protect their businesses. The awards spanned all of Aderant’s product lines, including Aderant CompuLaw, Aderant Total Office (formerly Client Profiles), Aderant CRM4Legal, Aderant Platinum (formerly RainMaker), and Aderant Expert.

“The Bridge Award acknowledges firms whose contributions benefit not only our ongoing product development, but also the entire Aderant user community,” said Aderant Chief Executive Officer Chris Giglio. “We are committed to delivering world-class products, on-time and on-budget implementations, and superior client support. Without close collaboration and long-standing partnerships with our clients, this would not be possible.”

This year, the recipients were:
•   Allens – a commercial law firm with more than 1,500 personnel working throughout Australia and Asia; through its integrated alliance with Linklaters it provides clients access to 36 offices throughout 26 countries around the world
•   Bird & Bird – an international law firm with 16 offices and 840 attorneys throughout the UK, Europe, and Asia
•   Cellino & Barnes – a personal injury firm with six offices in New York and 44 attorneys
•   DLA Piper – a global law firm with 4,200 attorneys located in 31 countries and 77 offices throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East
•   Kopka Pincus Dolin & Eads – a regional law firm dedicated to the defense of litigated matters on behalf of corporations and insurance companies with 54 attorneys and seven offices throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan
•   Lindquist & Vennum – a business-oriented general practice law firm with 250 professionals in three offices in Minnesota and Colorado
•   Offit Kurman – a full-service law firm with 85 attorneys assisting clients from six offices in the mid-Atlantic region
•   Reed Smith – an AmLaw 20 international law firm with 24 offices and more than 1,700 attorneys that represents 57 of the world’s 100 largest companies

“Momentum was so well organized and fun,” said first time attendee Chris Gierymski, director of docketing for DLA Piper. “I learned a lot and met so many people that will provide me with more opportunities to expand my roles at DLA Piper and as president of the National Docketing Association. I cannot wait until the next one.”

“Attending Momentum proved to be invaluable. The in-depth, small-group sessions were tremendous and I had so much fun during all of the networking events,” remarked Tom Balthasar, IT director with Cellino & Barnes. “Best of all though was being able to put a face to the names of all of the Aderant Total Office support staff that we communicate with every day. Now, when we talk it feels as though we have such a close rapport. I will definitely attend next year!”

Momentum drew more than 450 attendees from nearly 170 domestic and international law and other professional services firms. Aderant will host its Momentum EMEA User Conference in London, July 10-11, and its Momentum APA User Conference in Sydney later in the year.
