MediPurpose Announces New Wound Care Marketing Manager, Valerie C. Johnson

May 5, 2012 - PRLog -- ATLANTA -- MediPurpose, a medical product manufacturer and master distributor, today announced Valerie C. Johnson as its new marketing manager for its Advanced Wound Care product division.

In her new role, Johnson will focus on identifying and developing channels where MediPlus(tm) Advanced Wound Care products can positively impact a reduction in its customers' bottom line while providing quality outcomes. Further, she will help develop programs to support the needs of MediPurpose's medical product distribution partnerships.

Johnson's career in the medical product space has spanned more than two decades. Most recently a senior product manager and market development manager at MÜInlycke Health Care, she has held similar positions at Coloplast, Roche Diagnostics and Quintiles Laboratories. Her deep passion for medical product sales and marketing has been a hallmark of her career.

"As a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, I have always had a love for science and health care," said Johnson. "After spending several years in the acute care setting serving in management and quality assurance, I wanted to combine my analytical strengths with business and creativity. After completing additional studies in Business and Health Care Administration, I knew that marketing was where I wanted to focus my career."

Outside of her professional endeavors, Johnson enjoys power walking and Zumba dancing.
