May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- EnMar Production has bought the rights to Gregory Blair’s twisted tale of a murderess forced to reside with some increasingly creepy nuns.  The script won first place just last year in the Horror Screenplay Contest.

“We are all very excited about this on our end,” Says Keven Joel Kane of Enmar.  Funding is complete and location scouting has already begun, with eyes on some decaying castles on the Isle of Weight.

“I had this idea haunting me for quite a while,” Blair says about the script.  “I had this premise and the main characters but I wasn’t sure what to do with it all.  So I let sort of ferment in my brain and worked on other scripts.  Then, one day, I just sat down and the whole thing started coming out.”

One of the “other scripts” was DEADLY REVISIONS—another horror film being made this year in the U.S. with horror favorite Bill Oberst, Jr. in the lead.

“It’s nice to have two films in production at the same time—especially one here in the States and one overseas.  That’s new for me.  But I could learn to live with it,” Gregory says with a wink.

Though both horror films, DEADLY REVISIONS and THE SISTERHOOD are nothing alike.  “DEADLY REVISIONS is a cross between a psychological thriller and a contemporary horror film:  think Hitchcock making a cabin-in-the-woods movie; that’s the style.  But THE SISTERHOOD, now called THE GATEWAY, is a gothic tale; a moody period piece where the nightmarish images and situations build slowly until you’re squirming in your seat with suspense.  I think both are going to be terrific fun.”

Both films begin shooting later this year.  For more information visit http://www.2writers.com/GregoryLinks.htm or http://enmarproductions.com/
