This new Stamford children's art studio is too much fun to be serious.

For those days when creativity and imagination is in the air, Best Time Ever art studio offers a rainbow of opportunities for your child to sit alone or with friends and unselfconsciously create a masterpiece to call his own.

May 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Stamford, Ct -(May 4, 2012)  You can’t help but fall in love as you walk down the steps into the bright, cheery, colorful space of Best Time Ever.  The walls are each a different vibrant color.  Your imagination starts to run wild as you gaze at bins stacked full of buttons, ribbons, beads, sequins, paints, yarn, and every other imaginable craft for a masterpiece in the works.  The multicolored small chairs and tables filling the room call your name and entice you to sit.  And create.

Adrienne Humphrey, the founder and owner of Best Time Ever at 633 Hope Street in Stamford gives moms and kids another reason to adore this new business in town.  She’s truly what sets Best Time Ever apart from what some might believe are similar businesses.  She founded Best Time Ever because she felt there is a need for children to freely create and knows there is nothing like this in the area.  “Art is so important for children and having fun is is a necessity as far as I’m concerned”, she states.  “Having the opportunity to provide the perfect space to do this was a dream come true.  I love going to work every day”.  And she does so seven days a week.  Her knack for figuring out exactly what a child would love to do makes them feel like they are the only one in the room.  She oohs and ahs atas if each and every project will next be hanging on the walls of the MoMA.  You’ll never hear her say something isn’t possible.  She actually hesitated listing available projects on her website since pretty much ANY project is possible.  She sits in the little chairs next to the kids and inspires them to finish with the best possible details.  Satisfaction is never a problem. “This really is the Best Time Ever” is a quote you’ll hear MANY kids shouting to their moms on their way out.  Lily, age 4, also told Adrienne that she loves that “there are never any time-outs at Best Time Ever”. Most kids leave tugging at their parents clothes asking when they can come back.  “We are brand new and already have regulars. What more could I ask for? I’m thrilled.”

Best Time Ever doesn’t stop with open art hours for kids.  Right now you can drop in most days of the week from 10-6.  Adrienne posts on FB every Friday what the weekend hours will be depending on birthday parties. Prices are by project not by time spent which allows kids to take their time and enjoy their creative experience.  Eventually, Adrienne will be adding classes to the schedule. She’ll be running camps all summer and special events galore. In addition, she offers amazing customized dream birthday parties.  She’ll even create the invitations at the studio for you or work with your child on them as a project in itself.

AND, who said arts and crafts is just for kids?  Adrienne hopes to get adults into the studio for fun Girls Nights Out.  Sipping wine while glueing gems or stringing beads?  Champagne and Portraits?  Why not?  This space welcomes innovation.

If having fun isn’t reason enough to bring your kids to Best Time Ever how about the benefits of art for your kids? Studies have shown that art enhances and fosters imagination, cognitive skills, creative abilities, problem solving, fine motor skills, language, social skills, sense of time and place, focusing, listening, risk taking, tolerance and uniqueness.   What child (AND adult) doesn’t need these characteristics on their resume?
