-- Third Millennium has launched a new look website that offers its visitors something a little different to the norm. With its simple “Style” and “Technology”
tabs, it offers a simple, intuitive navigation experience, directing visitors quickly to their required page of interest.
To complement the new look website, Third Millennium has updated all the product datasheets and programming manuals. The “new brand theme” from the website has also been applied to these documents, which are also available for download.
Founded in 1996 by Pete Jones, Third Millennium is a multi award- winning manufacturer of advanced access control readers, and specialises in the introduction of new technology to the access control market. Supplying many of the world’s leading security specialists, the company’s products offer a wide variety of styles coupled with the broadest range of RFID technologies available from a single manufacturer.
The Third Millennium product range includes multi-technology RFID access control readers capable of reading 125 kHz and 13.56MHz simultaneously. These advanced products offer a simple and cost-effective way to migrate from 125 kHz technologies to the latest 13.56 MHz multi-application smartcards for use with cashless vending, library management, transportation and other card-based applications. These advanced access control readers are also useful should you need to facilitate a multi-tennant site where a variety of different technology cards are used on different systems. Third Millennium has reader solutions that allow all of these card technologies to be used in communal areas.
Third Millennium readers are packaged in various styles, whether you require a simple -to-install reader that fits to a UK electrical backbox, a proximity-and-
pin reader right through to proximity and fingerprint solution. This innovative product range supports the leading RFID technologies:
Legic, Mifare and DESFire.
In addition to its own manufactured products, Third Millennium now offers products from Nedap AVI.
