-- Epsom, N.H.— For all too many people, exercise isn’t something they look forward to. Boring workouts, crowded gyms, and confusing machines just don’t seem worth it. On May 8th 2012, Get Fit NH will celebrate four years of successfully proving to their clients that it just doesn’t have to be that way.
Nancy Carlson, head coach of Get Fit NH’s Epsom training facility, explains. “When a new person walks through the door they are blown away by how different we are from a typical gym. Instead of a room full of machines and strangers, they are welcomed and introduced to the rest of the team.” Coach Nancy, as she is called by her clients, continues “We want them to understand that we are a family and in this together.”
Get Fit NH specializes in what they call “Group Personal Training”. The concept includes exercise and movement patterns that are individualized to each client, regardless of current condition or ability.
Dean Carlson is head coach at Get Fit NH’s Concord facility, and responsible for writing the training programs. “Good coaches know that writing a great training program is part science and part art” Dean explains. “The science is knowing what a client needs to reach their goals, and the art is keeping exercise interesting and fun. Nobody likes getting hurt, and nobody likes boring.”
“We are very grateful to be celebrating our four year anniversary”
Nancy says “We have clients who have been with us since day one, seen us grow, and supported us every step of the way. Our coaching staff is top shelf. It goes without saying we wouldn’t be celebrating this anniversary without them.”
Get Fit NH was recognized in March as the Best Gym in Concord for the 3rd year in a row, and Coach Nancy was chosen “Best of the Best Fitness Trainer” for the 2nd consecutive year by the readers of the Hippo Press.
