Follow on Google News | Recent Sales of Mint Oil Businesses in the US Could Cause Global Mint Oil Prices to RiseSpeculation is running rampant throughout the mint industry about a major mint oil business that is apparently for sale in the United States, thus causing concern that a lack of mint oil suppliers could result in lower supplies & higher prices
By: Mint Industry News Network Several commercial real estate websites, including the following, are advertising a “Mint Oil Business for Sale in Harrah, Washington”: * http://www.loopnet.com/ * http://yakima.craigslist.org/ * http://www.cimls.com/ According to various sources in the US mint industry who did not want to be identified, the company listed in the advertisements appears to be Labbeemint, a large mint oil broker business located in Washington State. The possible sale of Labbeemint comes less than a year after another major mint oil broker, AM Todd, was purchased by Wild Flavors (http://www.foodproductdesign.com/ The above mentioned recent sale of AM Todd combined with the apparent pending sale of Labbeemint is causing concern with procurement managers from a number of major companies that purchase mint oils. As there are only three major mint oil brokers in North America and those three brokers control a majority of the mint oil transactions in the Western Hemisphere, the recent sales or pending sales of two of the three major mint oil brokers is leaving many flavors and fragrance industry companies wondering why North American mint industry suppliers are consolidating at such an unprecedented pace. According to experts, this consolidation and/or the declining pool of mint oil brokers will inhibit competition and cause global mint oil prices to increase and supplies to tighten. End
