Teen illustrator Lexee Harris’ ‘Samarakan’ comicbook series now at Source Comic and Games

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Teen illustrator Lexee Harris’ ‘Samarakan’ comic book series is now available at Source Comic and Games in St. Paul, Minnesota. On Saturday June 2, 2012 Harris will hold a book signing at the Source Comic and Games store from 2 – 6 p.m.

The talented 17 year-old recently held a book signing at Eagan High School, which carries her ‘Samarakan’ Vol. 1 and 2 in its library. While there the press came out to witness such a young and successful illustrator displaying her comic books. She was interviewed on site by David Henke (Eagan Patch) and Jessica Harper (Sun This Week).

On Saturday June 2, 2012 she will hold another book signing at Source Comic and Games store in (St. Paul, MN) from 2 – 6 p.m. Source Comic and Games is yet another store to sign-on to carry the books. The beautifully illustrated comic book series, “Samarakan,” show a talent way beyond her age, impressing those that have read the books.

Her management is currently in talks for a national distribution deal that would include placement in Barns & Noble. Harris’ publishing company, Crystal Publishing Group, recently held a contest where the winner - fan Aaliyah Calhoun - received a personalized comic illustration of herself.

Also an Alternative/Pop singer - as Lexee Crystal - this extraordinary young lady recently concluded production on her fourth original song, “Gypsy Caravan,” a Pop fairytale imagery provoking song produced by Brandon Jarrett (Moho Productions) and written by Jarrett, Neenah Taylor and Lexee. “Gypsy Caravan” (http://soundcloud.com/lexeecrystal/gypsy-caravan) will be on her upcoming debut album and is now available on iTunes and CDBaby. Her comic book is also available at Amazon.com and iTunes. If all this is not enough, Harris is also a model and actress.

Lexee Crystal’s singing talents are in high-demand, she has performed at the MN Spokesman-Recorders Graduation Celebration; the Target Center LiftKids Organization Benefit Concert; on the popular “The Lemmy O Show” with host Al B. Ware; on the “The Art Cunningham Show,” and as host of the 2010-2012 Minnesota Teens’ Motivational Tour.

As an actress Harris stars in the dramatic feature film The Family Guardians, produced and director by Lee H. Jordan and in the Minnesota stage production of “Alice in Wonderland.” As a model she has appeared in a Skechers national advertising campaign and in a Mini Mogul Music full-page advertising spread - which appeared in Pop Star Magazine.
