Mother's Day 2012 Deserves A Honorary Award

However, Mother’s Day will continue being celebrated around the globe, in more than 110 countries, throughout the months of May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.

In 2008, Fowler launched Positive Light Books, a print-on-demand publishing company that publishes fiction and non-fiction literary articulations. Since 2008, this POD company has published five titles. Interestingly, Fowler says, “The biggest problem with selling books is getting readers to pick up the book.”

As a result, he has begun initiating traditional promotional methods and disseminating flyers in and around his community, door-to-door. And while many oppose this method of marketing, Fowler admits, doing so has helped him cut his marketing budget, tremendously.

In the meantime, Fowler says, he hopes people will enjoy sharing his Mother’s Day gift book, Honorary Mother’s Day Award, with their mother, aunt, and grandmother. After all, this gift book is enveloped with forty-three, soul-stirring, thought-provoking, poetic expressions that reignite the love shared between mother and child. Fowler says, “Bangkok Books recently offered me a second publishing contract for a novel, I also published. However, a title change was recommended for this project.”

So while traditional American Publishing companies continue seeking innovative methods to not only publish new books but disseminate them; Positive Light Books says it will continue building alliances with other globally recognized publishing companies, in hopes of not only publishing many new titles, but to gain a broader audience of readers around the globe.
