Fort Myers Track & Running Shoe Store,Foot Solutions of Estero Sponsors "Fast & Furriest 5K Run”

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers track and running shoe store, Foot Solutions of Estero, participated again this year in the “Fast & Furriest” 5K Run/1-Mile Walk to benefit the Gulfcoast Humane Society.   At the Foot Solutions of Estero booth, runners were offered free chair massages by licensed massage therapists, and free digital foot scans by a Certified Licensed Pedorthist.   Foot Solutions Estero also donated $25 gift cards to the runners, and donated a $50 gift certificate for the raffle.  More information about Foot Solutions and its products for runners can be found at http://www.stores.footsolutions.com/estero

“We were a sponsor for this event last year, and were excited for the opportunity to return again this year,” said Chris Cole, Owner, Foot Solutions of Estero.  “In addition to supporting a good cause in the community, we are also able to help runners ensure they are properly caring for their feet.  The digital foot scans we are providing will allow the runners to see a pressure map reading of their feet, which also gives us insight into each person’s unique needs. The assessment allows us to help prevent and address many foot, knee and back problems runners often face. All those participating in the race will also receive a gift card, so they may use that towards new running shoes or custom arch supports to ensure their feet are in good shape for future runs!”

Free shoulder massages were provided for race participants and spectators at the Foot Solutions Estero booth.  Massages were provided by partner massage therapists from Dr. Douglas Merlo’s chiropractic practice.
